Gosport Borough Youth Tournament
Founded
in 2000, the Gosport Borough Youth Tournament gets bigger and better every
year.
The tournament hosts both local sides and teams from farther a field in a friendly, pre-season competition with helps teams prepare for the forthcoming season - traditionally a period when it is difficult for clubs to arrange matches and pitches and goals are yet to be erected by local authorities.
The aim of the tournament is to take those problems away from clubs and managers and provide teams with the right surroundings over a weekend in September at HMS Sultan's Polo Fields.
In the true spirit of Gosport Borough Football Club, the tournament is all about sportsmanship and enjoyment. Regardless of where a team comes in the competition, it is important to us that everyone enjoys themselves.
