Prediction League 2011/12
 

Calling all football Mystic Megs.  Do you think you can predict the outcome of matches?  Why not join The Boro's Prediction League for the 2011/12 season?  The idea is simple - you predict the results of matches and the better your prediction the more points you gain.  There are two competitions - the Main Game where competitors predict the results for the full Southern League South & West programme every Saturday and the Mini Game where only Boro' games are predicted. It's a season of two halves as well as both the Main and the Mini games will run from August to Christmas and again from Christmas to April - doubling your chances of winning. There is a monthly manager-on-the-month competition for the highest points scorer in the month and also a cup competition. MAIN GAME Predict the results of each Saturday's full Southern League South & West programme. Entry into the Main Game is £5 and points will be awarded as follows: 3 points for a totally correct score 1 point if correct result (ie home win, away win etc) plus a bonus point if the goal difference is correctly predicted. The season runs in two halves with a winner being declared at Christmas based on the first half of the season and a second winner declared at the end of 2011/12. A monthly "Manager of the Month" award will be made for the player with the most points obtained within that calendar month. The winner receives 50% of the money pooled with the club receiving the remaining 50%.
