Bracknell game |

What an interesting match this
was and it definitely pays to be on time with our lot. We arrived
about five minutes into the match to find that we had missed the first two
goals! Fortunately they went on to score two more and the next time we
travel by rail I will allow more time. The lads played well and after
the stick Browner has taken recently I thought he was outstanding. He made a
couple of crucial saves that would have made it a lot more difficult for us.
I hope that Gavin Jones' injury is not as bad as I fear. He was in lot
of pain as he was carried past us. He will be a big loss to us if he
can't play next season as he has been pretty influential for us recently.
Well done to the Boro'.

We were at the Bracknell game
on Saturday and were sad to see Gavin get injured. He looked in a
great deal of pain. We hope that the injury is not as serious as
suspected and wish him a speedy recovery.

What happened to Gavin.
How was he injured and what was the game like overall - it sounded one sided
in the paper but gutted I missed the game due to work commitments.

According to the medic at
Bracknell he believed that he had damaged his medial collateral ligament.
I'll endeavour to find out from Pikey how he is and how bad the damage is.

As a follow up to my earlier
post, Gavin does indeed have medial collateral ligament damage and is
waiting for the swelling to go down before a trip to QA's fracture clinic to
see if there was any further damage. He is hopeful that the injury is
not as bad as feared on Saturday and he hopes to be back pre-season for the
friendlies.

Please could some kind Borough
supporter let me know the team that played against Bracknell on the 19th
with the playing substitutes?
