I would like to thank the
Club for the very special presentation made to me at the Dinner/Dance last
week. It meant a great deal to me and my thanks go to everyone who
organised it. I would also like to thank all of you for your kind
comments - they are appreciated. I am currently enjoying my
"retirement" very much and am doing lots of things I never had the chance
to do whilst at the Club. However, I look forward to watching as many
home games as I can next season. I think the signings Pikey has made are
all quality and I did have a gut feeling Dave Birmingham would come back
sometime - but perhaps not so soon! I think those signings will further
boost an already strong squad. If it all clicks, then the Club could be
in for a very exciting season in 2008/09 so enjoy the ride. Once
again, my thanks for your support for me and I will see you all at the
Park in the near future.
