Why all the moaning? |

I don't understand what you
lot are all moaning about. It's the club's first season in your
current league and your 24 points clear of the bottom team in the table.
You'll stay up comfortably, re-build in the summer and maybe be challenging
for honours next season. Have faith and give the management time!

First season back in Southern
League - survival the key. To all fair weather supporters, look at
Havant. 6,000 to Anfield yet only gets 600 average. Supporters should
be embarrassed. Where are you every home game? Disgusting!

It will be interesting to see
what the Hawk's next home gate is. I would imagine they will get a
ticker tape welcome and hopefully massive support for the rest of the
season. Next season let's see The Boro' at Anfield or maybe even The
GDL. If it had been GBFC playing Liverpool at Anfield we would have
probably sold the same number of tickets. You have to wonder where all
the extra fans come from. Having said that, we went to watch the FA
Vase final at Wembley last season because we wanted to show support for
another Wessex side (Totton) but also because we wanted to go to the new
Wembley and bask in the atmosphere of the special occasion. Nothing
wrong with that in my opinion.

The title of this thread says
it all - Burnham were awful last week yet took the points. Maybe the
solution is to move Pikey upstairs and bring in Craig Stafford who recently
resigned from Moneyfields. Interesting to see he was at the game
Saturday.

Move Alex upstairs! Are you
having a laugh? Yes he got us promoted but in my opinion (probably not a
great one) he is out of his depth in this league. We need someone who
understands Southern League football. Alex was a big fish in the Wessex
League and he should stay there and manage a village side in a village
league (his words not mine).

In answer to Scottiedog, quite
a few of us from Gosport watched Havant crush Swansea and even more of us
went to Anfield. What's more we also showed support by attending the Hawks
post-Anfield home game against Cambridge. We're more likely to follow the
Hawks for the rest of the season than the Boro' and if you wish to know why
then just read all the negative moaning posts on TurkTalk. We'd rather
follow a team and management that are all working for each other and
enjoying their football than a bunch of moaning minnies. So oust the Boro'
committee, management and half the players and we'll all return. Until
then, if you go to a Hawks home game you'll be amazed how many Gosport faces
you recognise.

What an idiotic thing to call
yourself - Boro' Hawk. Are you a Boro' fan or a Hawks fan? I'd
say you were neither and one of those sheep that follow the crowd.
You're not a fan of Gosport otherwise you'd be at Privett through thick and
thin. But what do you do when things go a bit pear shaped - you decamp
to West Leigh Park. Thing is, sooner or later things will go wrong at
Havant and you'll be off again calling yourself a supporter of another club.
When that happens just make sure you don't come back to Gosport -
"supporters" like you aren't welcome.

I would say that with crowds
like yours you can't afford to turn anyone away.

And with fans like Boro' Loyal
who needs enemies? If you think that slagging off the likes of Boro' Hawk
is the way to attract them back to Privett Park then poor deluded you!
Anyone who has drifted away from Privett should be encouraged to return.
Saying any supporter is unwelcome is unhelpful in the extreme. We need all
the support we can get!

With the last home crowd at
104 we shouldn't be too picky. Where is everybody? That is worse
than last year!

Yep, I agree with Topper.
It's worth noting that if you add up all the names who post to this forum
you get far more people than attend Boro' home games. Strange that.
