England international at Boro' |

Congratulations to Lloyd
O'Neil who has been selected to represent England colleges under 19's in the
next few weeks. England have two games and then they are off to Italy
for a tour in May. Good luck - hope it all goes well.

Well done to the lad. A
great player who seems to score every time he plays.

Good news Lloyd. I am
sure you will prove this is just the start of a promising future.

Why was he not playing in last
night's game? Would of been interested to see him play.

Onlooker, that is the big
question. Only Pikey can answer that one. He has not been
involved for a few weeks now. He scored three goals in six starts from
midfield for the first team and produced some very good performances in the
cup games. He has played for the youth team and has scored and created
many goals with some outstanding performances. Another great talent to
leave Boro'?

I'm afraid it could be.
Apparently Fleet and Farnborough have been tracking the lad. Fingers
crossed he will resist their overtures.

Unfortunately the lad
struggles with the physical side of the game at the moment (first team) and
seems to have a bit of an attitude problem that doesn't endear to team
spirit. He should however mature, over time, as he does have undoubted
ability.

I agree the lad does
lack strength at the moment but his talent and football ability is
unquestionable. As to his attitude - the boy is a winner and gets
frustrated with the high standards he sets himself and expects others to
follow. He has played all his football at a very high level and I
think he has found this season's adjustment very hard. The boy just
wants to play football so lets enjoy the talent and hopefully it will still
be at Boro'.
