Reserves v Laverstock |

It was good to see Fordy
playing today. He didn't stop running all game and bossed the
midfield. New signing Joe also played well at left back. The
whole team played as a team and it was good to watch. Are any of the
reserves going to get a chance to play first team football? If Pikey
gave some of them a chance they might win a game instead of picking his
favourites. The goalie Geoff is the nuts. Also Sharpy is solid
at the back. What do you think?

What about the new centre
forward? Dobbsi I think? Where has he come from? He has pace to
burn.

As most of the reserves that
won everything for three years are now doing really well at Fareham and
Horndean etc, it is highly unlikely a mid table reserve team player will get
a look in.

Behave "Fan" - Lee Sharp is a
good player in that league but he's not good enough for Southern and maybe
not even Wessex. The same goes for Geoff I'm afraid. The best
goalie at Boro' without doubt is Browner and I'm hoping the rumours I've
heard about him giving up aren't true cos although Browner didn't come for
every cross he maybe should have, if you watch Max he doesn't come for
hardly any and a lot of goals against at the moment are coming from set
pieces.

Nice to see some good football
played at the GDL. Well done the ressies.

How can you say that
"Realistic fan" when Pikey doesn't give them a chance. I agree Browner
is the best keeper at the Club but Geoff is much better between the sticks
then Max and, as for "Sharpy", yes he is good player but you don't know if
he's good enough for Southern League football until he has that chance.
Same goes for all of the ressies.

Is Joe Williams from the youth
team or is he another one of Macca's astute signing's?

You must've missed the news
story on the home page. Joe was signed by Pikey last week from
Petersfield Town.
