be at Swindon Supermarine and midweek! What an awful idea. Means
that there will be very little support which is a shame.

Have to agree Derek that with
no home game (for either side) the attendance will be poor. I believe
that clubs had the choice of two-legged or one off semi-finals but there is
also the end of the season looming and the games had to be played by a
certain date. It's quite possible that neither us nor Merthyr could
arrange suitable dates for two legs and so had to go for the single game
option.

A great effort by the whole
squad and really pleased with the effort and attitude of all involved.
We gave Merthyr a real surprise by our quality as their supporters expected
a rollover having looked at our league placing.

After seeing that Merthyr beat
Corby in the final, it shows what a good fight the lads put up in their semi
against the Welsh side. They came very close to getting something from
the game - taking Merthyr to extra-time. For me, it shows what quality
there is in this youth team and we hope that the lads can stay together next
season. Well done to all involved.
