Gosport progress to the next round of the Trophy thanks to a solid defensive performance against Slough Town.
Slough, currently riding high in the Central Division of the Southern League will consider themselves unlucky to have returned home on the wrong side of a 3-0 scoreline but it was Boro's ability to soak up their pressure that won the home side the tie.
Adam Wilde gave Boro' a great start when he caught Warrington off his line and lobbed him in the 10th minute but it was the visitors who were in charge for the majority of the half.
Nevertheless, for all the ball that the Rebels saw, it was Gosport's solid defence of Brett Poate and Lee Molyneaux who doggedly kept the visitors at bay and just before the break Boro' punished them by adding a second when James Taylor found Nathan Kirby who beat the stranded Warrington.
Slough came out for the second half with it all to play for and again camped themselves in the Gosport half. Twice in the opening few minutes of the half Sonner found himself with a scoring chance only to shoot wide.
Wilde then hit a thundering shot at Warrington as the game opened up before Chris Heron had a clear sight of Pryce's goal but the Slough man fired high and wide.
Boro' made Slough pay and tied up the game just after the hour when Kirby's through ball was latched onto by Justin Bennett but before the striker could let fire he was bundled over leaving James Taylor to convert the resulting penalty.
Slough continued to chase the game but with a mountain to climb you could see their hearts weren't in it and Gosport's Wilde could have made it four with minutes left but he failed to hit the target when in the clear.
Gosport will now meet Sholing in the first qualifying round on Saturday 22nd October after the Southampton side beat Wimborne Town 2-0.
