Pre and post operative treatment

For patients anxious about pending surgical procedures, it is possible to prescribe remedies which will address the anxiety as well as the expected physical trauma.

Arnica, for example, can be taken before and after surgical procedures depending on the region of the body involved and will help with the bruising and general trauma.

I have treated post-operative infections where antibiotics have not helped and remaining stitches have been the cause of an infection.  These were expelled within 48 hours and no further surgical intervention was required.
