Three more in the arrivals lounge

As pre-season training commenced last night at Privett Park, Alex Pike added three more names to his squad.

Most known locally will be former Portsmouth midfielder Sammy Igoe who joins from Havant & Waterlooville.  Igoe, who joined The Hawks in 2010 has a wealth of experience with over 500 professional appearances including over 200 at Fratton Park, over 100 with Reading, 90 at Swindon Town and 57 for AFC Bournemouth.

Pike has also picked up former Hawks striker Chamal Fenelon from Horndean where the 6'3" striker finished last season.  Fenelon, a former Millwall youth player, had a trial for Port Vale before spending time at a number of Sussex clubs - most notably Lewes.

Finally, midfielder James Coutts arrives from AFC Totton.  Having left Weymouth after the club were relegated  in 2009, Coutts joined Newport County and Dorchester Town before joining The Stags at the start of last season.  He began his career at AFC Bournemouth and made 12 appearances at Dean Court.
