GBHQ have announced that admission to both the Whitehawk and Sholing friendlies will be £5 (£3 concessions). The club understands that times are hard for our loyal supporters and don't wish to stretch their wallets unnecessarily. Therefore the prices have been set to make these two very interesting games affordable for everyone. These prices will apply for Saturday's game against Whitehawk (3pm) and Monday's game against Sholing (7.45pm). Saturday's game will be the first ever meeting between Gosport and Brighton-based Whitehawk who, like Boro', were promoted last season and will begin life in the Ryman Premier League next weekend. Memories of last season's play-off semi final will come flooding back for both Gosport and Sholing when the local rivals meet again on Monday night. The two teams met four times last season with Boro' taking a clean sweep of four wins from four so Dave Diaper's Boatmen will want to set the record straight this time around. The club hopes that our supporters and some floating football fans will be interested in taking in one or both of these intriguing games and take advantage of these special prices before Boro's eagerly-awaited Southern Premier League campaign begins the following weekend. |
