Howes makes Poole U-turn

Glenn Howes, who rejoined The Boro' last week from Poole Town, has made a dramatic U-turn and has decided to stay at Tatnum.

Howes had met manager Alex Pike and had agreed terms to play in the Premier Division with Gosport citing the travelling to Poole as a constant problem.  He even went as far as contacting several of his Poole teammates to say his farewells and contacted a number of Boro' players stating his intentions to join Gosport for 2012/13.

But following a meeting with Poole manager Tommy Killick, Glenn was persuaded to remain at Tatnum.

Nevertheless, Pike remains hopeful that one day Howes will rejoin stating; "no doubt we will see Glenn in the colours of Gosport in the future."
