Thommo: "I might have played my last
game"

Danny Thompson
has admitted in a posting on the Club's forum that his football career may
be over following his second leg break.
Thommo was carried off in a Wessex Combination game against Horndean reserves following a brutal challenge. Although able to put weight on his leg, 24 hours later he was diagnosed as having broken his leg - the second leg break the midfielder has suffered in his Boro' career.
Now speaking via the fans forum, Thommo admitted that this break may end his career.
"As you all know, this is the second time I have broke my leg and even though is as not as bad as the first break there are a few problems with this one," said Thompson
"I have been told I may need a op and if this is the case then I'm not sure I will be able to come back from it. So it is with great sadness I might have played my last game for Gosport."
