Eric stands down a treasurer

Eric Hook, the Club’s treasurer for the last two and a half years, has resigned his post as treasurer.
Due to a difference of opinion with other Board members about the Club's current and future direction, Eric resigned as an officer and also as a trustee of the Club.
Whilst the Club feels this resignation is regrettable, it is a fact that Boards do not always agree with each other but normally present a united front once decisions are made. We regret that Eric was unable to do so on some issues, causing him to make the ultimate decision.
The Club thank him for his efforts over the last two and a half years. He will be replaced as treasurer for the remainder of the season by the General Secretary. Mark, Eric's brother, will continue in his capacity as the Club's council representative.
