Published: 8 October 2007

It was ideal conditions with a clear bright start.  The boys were all fired up to continue their excellent start to the season.

Very quickly Borough took the advantage and had numerous chances none of which had made it to the back of the net.  Finally, Bradley Vicary took a fantastic shot which appeared to be going high but found its place at the back of the net.

After that there was no stopping the boys - Ryan Clutterbrook scored four powering though the oppositions defence, Callum Featherstone scored two, one of which was a penalty and Curtis Handley scored one which rolled past the defenders and keeper.

The manager Lee Vicary was pleased with the boys' performance and in the team talk at the end of the match stressed the importance of strong passing.

The man of the match was Jacob Gillan for his excellent defending and brilliant effort.
