The weather had been bad and everyone was hopeful the match wouldn’t be rained off with the boys determined to try their best and get through to the next stage of the Portsmouth Cup. They knew they had a fight on their hands because the opposition were two leagues higher.
Quickly Boro' took the advantage with a goal from Ryan Clutterbrook. The Tigers battled hard but couldn't stop further goals from Callum Featherstone and Connor May.
All the boys worked hard and were rewarded with the well deserved win and a place in the semi-finals.
