Match report: U10s 'A' v Horndean Hawks
Published: 13 March 2008

Horndean Hawks put seven past Boro' in the home game in October and they gave Boro' another lesson in football again today.

Within two minutes of the kick-off, Horndean had had three shots on target and were 1-0 up.

Boro had a claim for a free kick on four minutes after the Horndean goalie handled the ball outside his area but the referee played advantage and Boro' couldn't capitalise.

Boro' then fought valiantly for before Horndean scored their third.

Gosport managed to gain a free kick on 17 minutes which was put out for a corner but this was kicked out before reaching the box.  A minute later Horndean made a break down the right and the incoming cross was unfortunately turned into his own net by a Boro' player.

Into the second half and Boro's goalie pushed a shot onto the bar to deny Horndean their fifth.

Gosport rallied well but the passing football they have displayed over the last three games deserted them today and within the space of three minutes Horndean scored another the to make the final score 7-0.
