Gosport had an early morning start with an in form Purbrook Athletic who had been getting great results over the last couple of games.
Purbrook did not disappoint with some fantastic midfield play in the early part of the game.
It took 14 minutes for the deadlock to be broken when first half Man of the Match Jack Gillen played a brilliant one/two to set up Rhys Warmsley for the opening goal.
Straight from the kick off Jack again collected the ball this time to set up Matthew Boudier for Boro's second within a minute of the kick off.
The rest of the half belonged to the Purbrook 'keeper who pulled off some fantastic saves to stop the Boro' onslaught.
With Matthew Pritchard and Jamie Winter in defence, Purbrook were unable to get past the Boro' penalty box.
The second half saw three substitutions with Ben Duffin replacing Jack Gillen in midfield and Owen Cripps replace Matthew Boudier in the midfield and Ben Braithwaite replace Matthew Pritchard in defence.
The half saw a revitalised Purbrook who pushed further up the field and Boro' found the early part of the half tough going.
Ten minutes into the half, Owen Cripps got down the left wing to push a great ball through to Rhys Warmsley to fire home his second and Boro’s third.
Daniel Toon replaced Rhys Warmsley in midfield and this allowed Ben Duffin to play further up the field. Ben soon found the back of the net for Boro’s fourth with a great individual goal.
Second half Man of the Match Ben Braithwaite set up Ben Duffin's second two minutes later with an excellent pitch length defensive clearance. Ben then bagged his hat-trick with a great shot in the top corner after a great ball from Jamie Winter.
Purbrook's reward for there efforts was a late goal after a shot was deflected off a Boro' player from a Purbrook corner.
Purbrook should have scored a further two late goals if not for some great goalkeeping from Boro' 'keeper Zach Robinson.
