Match report: U10s 'B' v Portsmouth United
Published: 31 October 2007

Although it is still very early in the season, the boys are working hard and getting the results they deserve.  For this round of the Portsmouth Cup they were faced with a team in the division above them in the league.  Even the awful wet weather could not stop Gosport Borough from securing yet another comfortable win.

Right from the start the team were pressuring the oppositions defence and a goal from Ryan Clutterbrook took Gosport into the lead.  Some unfortunate mistakes in defence allowed Portsmouth to equalise but the boys kept their cool and continued their attack with more gaols from Ryan Clutterbrook, Thomas Vials and George Harms.

Final score: Gosport Borough 4 Portsmouth United 1

The man of the match was Jake Dowling for his excellent saves.
