Another Impressive Away Performance by Gosport as they once again keep playing until the final whistle and reap the rewards with a late heart breaking winner

A tough looking fixture against Taunton needed a good performance from the BORO’ Boys and that is exactly what they delivered.

Gosport went two up in the first half with goals from Michael Fernandes and Dan Wooden.

The hosts pulled an important goal back before half time to get themselves back in the game.

When the Peacocks scored an equaliser in the second half, Glenn’s Boys needed to keep up their performance and believe in themselves.

Second half substitutions kept them in the game, and in the 89th minute Fernandes outpaced the chasing pack to grab a deserved winner.

Even with 10 minutes of added on time Gosport dug deep to maintain their advantage and grab the points
