Gosport travel the short distance up the road to take on local rivals Sholing in the August Bank Holiday Monday…showdown fixture.

The Boatmen have been busy recently off the park…announcing a number of initiatives including Southampton hero Matt Le Tissier agreeing the post of community ambassador and associate director for the club.

Sholing have started the season with one more win under their belts than Gosport currently with seven points from their four games played - 7 points from 4 compared with Gosport’s 4 from 4….

Always an eagerly anticipated local derby for the two sides, and with plenty of BORO’ fans reported to be making the journey to that SO postcode…it’s looks like being a great occasion in store…
