Gosport’s first team have used their enforced extended break from action to re focus and prepare for Saturday’s Pitching In Southern League Premier South game against Truro City.

Speaking to the club’s website, BORO’ Manager Shaun Gale gave an insight into the squads preparations.

‘We’ve had time to really focus every one of the boys on the task ahead, and Saturday’s game will be a tough one, but it’s one we are determined to do well in and we are looking forward to making things difficult for them (Truro).

It’s a long trip down to their place, so we want to make sure we come away with something, and the boys are right up for it!

The recent training sessions have been brilliant and the lads have put everything into making sure that they are ready fo Saturday.

It’s been a bonus to have a number of our senior players back in the squad, with Mike Carter, Matt Paterson and Harry Kavanagh all back in training with the rest of the lads.

After a couple of disappointing blips we are still in a very good position with everything to play for...roll on Saturday.
