Gosport Borough FC are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Strength & Conditioning (S&C) Coach to lead the physical preparation of players across the first team (and support pathways where appropriate).

This is an ideal opportunity for an aspirational individual to grow and enhance their own involvement in the game.

Current requirements are for Tuesday & Thursday training evenings plus Match Days home & away.

Current Coach is moving on to take up a full time position with a Proffessional Championship Club.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver comprehensive strength, power, speed, agility, and conditioning programmes aligned to the demands of football.
* Prepare players optimally for match-day performance, including warm-ups and activation protocols.
* Monitor player load using GPS
* Analyse and interpret data to inform training decisions and reduce injury risk.
* Work closely with the medical team to implement injury prevention strategies.
* Support rehabilitation and return-to-play processes
* Collaborate with coaching staff to integrate physical outcomes with tactical and technical sessions.
* Educate players on physical preparation, recovery, nutrition (within scope), and lifestyle habits.

Person Specification
Essential
* Degree (or working towards) in Strength & Conditioning, Sports Science, or a related field.
* Experience or placement experience working in football
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Desirable
* Experience within semi-professional or professional football environments.
* Familiarity with / interest in GPS systems and performance monitoring tools.
* First Aid and Safeguarding certifications.

Working in the Semi-Proffessional football environment is recognised as fundamental to the development of any aspiring football related support Proffessional.
