The Club are delighted and thrilled to welcome highly respected
and former Gosport player Glenn Howes, who will partner Dutchy as
Joint Head Coach for the coming season.
Glenn has been an integral part of the tremendous success at
Dorchester Town for a number of years, culminating in their thrilling
although ultimately disappointing end to last season when they lost
the play off semi final to sadly miss out on promotion.....
Glenn played at Privett Park back in 2007 - 2009 and is remembered for being a tough tackling central midfielder who gave everything for the cause.
Dorchester fans have been quick to thank and acknowledge Glenn's
dedicated service to the Magpies, following news of his departure on
the club's website.
Gosport Borough would like to acknowledge the professionalism of Dorchester’s handling of Glenn’s departure and wish them nothing but the best.
Speaking to Gosport Borough's website Glenn has expressed his delight
and enthusiasm to sign for the BORO' as he looks to bring his
undoubted experience and support, to The AEI Stadium where he will
team up with Dutchy as Gosport go looking for an improvement on last
season's twelfth place finish.
'I am thrilled to be returning to the BORO' and be apart of the
exciting future projects that the Club have outlined, as we continue
The Club's Relaunch and journey to a self sustainable and succesful
future.
Working with Dutchy assisted by Mark ...we will give everything to
bring the success that this Club deserves and reward its fans for
their tremendous support'
BORO's 25/26 management team have been working tirelessly to kick
start our preparations for next season, and over the coming days will
start to announce player retention, re-signings and new additions.
In Dutchy & Glenn we trust.....Welcome to The BORO' Glenn and Family.
