“I’m going to sound silly but the best team lost the game in my opinion. I know that’s a ridiculous statement as we lost 3-0 in a cup final which when you concede 3 goals especially in a final you don’t deserve to win, but we had the better players which clearly stood out on the night.

Yet again we have come up against a full time football program. Players that train/learn together everyday, it’s tough to compete against that. Having said that we have consistently competed against these sides for 3 years now… but always just come up short but that’s understandable due to only having 2 hours contact time a week.

Credit to them they came here and had a ‘style’ and slowed the game down and sat in which made it very difficult.

This group have been excellent over the last 2 years and I’m gutted that some of them will be leaving us now and moving on but we have a great bunch of lads coming through and we are looking forward to competing on all fronts again next season.
