Fans came out in their numbers tonight, with a midweek crowd of over 1,000 piling into The AEI to witness the first piece of league action on our new 3G pitch.

Well everyone certainly were treated to an end to end game, with both teams scoring goals for fun under the new floodlights, and with Gosport coming from behind to take a 2 - 1 lead in the first half, with great finishes from Kaya Tshaka and Benny Read…it all looked set for an entertaining second half, and so it proved, although BORO’ fans probably left the ground a little disappointed.

BORO’ continued to create chances and when Charlie Wassmer scored the third Gosport goal to take a 3 - 1 lead, it looked to be our night.

But after two sendings off and two Farnham goals the game unbelievably ended all square at 3 - 3
