‘ It was nice to finally play a cup game at home. After Monday it was important we kept our standards high and started the game well.
Salisbury were a good side and far better than some teams in our league. Big physical side that tested us in the early stages.
A massive turning point for us was the penalty save at 1-0 from Harry Laver. He has been excellent for us in recent weeks and probably doesn’t get enough credit he deserves for his saves and performances, due to the fact we are comfortable in most games.
Another clean sheet and solid defensive performances all round. We also scored some very good individual goals at good moments in the game.
Another cup competition we have progressed into the later stages. As a squad we are very determined to go as far as possible in all remaining cup competitions and see what happens.
