The First Team BORO' Boys see Saturday's Home game against Didcot Town
as the perfect community opportunity, to help bolster the Club's
Gosport Pantry support initiative funds ahead of the this year's Christmas Seasonal activities.
Completely off their own back, Gosport Borough's players & staff, have
come together to grow a few extra whiskers.....a challenge for
some of the younger boys! … as part of the Nation's annual 'Movember
Challenge'...in order to raise extra cash ahead of the December
programme.
The Gosport Pantry which morphed out of the Club's 'Feed a Family'
initiative.....is open at the club during the week offering subsidised
groceries to its growing membership...who otherwise might struggle to
adequately feed themselves.
With the festive season very nearly upon us, the Gosport Pantry has
plans to hold Christmas lunch events at the Club, to bring a bit of
extra cheer to the Gosport Community.
The Players couldn't miss the opportunity to get involved, and your
help and support will go a long way to helping bring a bit of extra
seasonal joy to those who need it most.
Come along to Gosport’s home game against Didcot Town at the AEI
Stadium this Saturday, and look out for the players efforts to grow
their moustache's in support of the Movember Challenge…..throw a few
‘Bob’….ideally a pound or two in the collection buckets that will be
circulating the ground before and during the game…and help make that
difference!
Thanks to all the first team …and thanks to our supportive BORO’ fans.
