Our BORO’ u18’s played a league game on Sunday, the first of two games against Winchester City….this coming Weds night at the AEI it’s the same opposition in the Cup Semi Final

Result. Winchester City u18s 1 - 1 Gosport Borough u18s.

After Sunday’s game Under 18’s Manager Zak Sharp said:
‘We remain 3 points clear at the top.

Tough game this afternoon. Overall probably a fair result and a point that was important.

We didn’t really get fully going today but the conditions didn’t allow us to. We had to mix things up which I thought we did well in spells. We limited Winchester with chances but it wasn’t a great game. You could see it was a game that both teams couldn’t really afford to lose.

We look forward to welcoming Winchester City on Wednesday night at home in the league cup semi final.

I expect this game to be completely different, involving two very good footballing teams and personally you would say the two best teams at this age group.

It will be a great game to watch and a game that we will do our very best to get us into another cup final.
