‘I wanted to write and say how much we enjoyed hosting you yesterday. It was a great afternoon of non-league football in the sunshine, and ever since the final whistle, I've been receiving compliments from everyone at our club - the volunteers, the committee, and the fans. By way of a few examples:

" the best supporters we have had at our ground "

" what a great bunch Gosport were - players and fans were spot on in the bar"

" they were excellent "

" great away following - and a strong team "

" had a chat with them before the game - good fans "

" best away fans all season "

While the result wasn't what you were after, a big thank you from everyone at Berko - you and your fans are a credit to your club, and you've made a lot of friends in Hertfordshire.
Good luck in chasing Chertsey and Sholing, and if we do both end up in this division again next season, we look forward to continuing our football friendship’
