Gosport kick off their New Year fixtures with a tough looking trip to the current league leaders Walton & Hersham.

The Swans have definitely been the team of the first half of this season, ending their 2025 campaign eleven points clear at the top of the table.

Last Saturday they won away at Chertsey by a single goal to keep the season flying for the Swans.

The BORO’ suffered a disappointing defeat at home on Boxing Day when everything seemed to be against them, with local rivals H&W going away with the points.

However having acknowledged that it will a tough ask on Saturday…Gosport’s squad have everything to play for, and going to Walton a bit bruised and battered from that derby game might just play into Gosport’s hands.

Glenn & Mark’s BORO’ Boys have shown they can be resolute, demonstrated that they can dig in and grind out results, and they travel on Saturday with the opportunity to deliver a massive bounce back, and hopefully get a positive result.

Everyone connected with the first team are in a determined frame of mind and are looking forward to competing against and matching the efforts of their lofty hosts.
