Hallet has joined on loan from League Two side Forest Green Rovers and is a versatile youngster able to play as a centre-back and as a centre-forward.

The 18-year-old made one appearance for Forest Green Rovers first team when he appeared as a substitute in their 3-0 defeat away to Stevenage in March this year.

Hallet was able to impress enough as he earned his first professional contract late in the 2020/21 season.

Hallet will add another aerial threat to Boro’ attack with the Forest Green loanee able to get on the end of a cross and finish on a set play.

Boungou previously played for Blackfield & Langley and faced Boro on Boxing Day during their goalless draw at the Gang Warily stadium in the 2019/20 season.

The Frenchman can play in midfield and as a strong and powerful player Shaun Gale will be hoping that he can dominate the midfield.

The two signings come at an important time for Boro as they play two games in three days in a busy bank holiday weekend. Boro's first match is on Saturday against Chesham United and then they make a short trip to Hartley Witney on Monday.
